Shane Victorino ejected from CF

Yesterday Shane Victorino was ejected from CENTER FIELD by HOME PLATE umpire Ed Rapuano. What had happened was there was a 0-2 pitch that looked like a strike, it was called a ball. Victorino kind of threw his hands up in the air after the ball was called and then Rapuano came out from behind home plate and tossed him. Video here:

Umps are ridiculous.

What the hell was that? I genuinely don't understand. So they go from DP to walk and safe without a decent explanation?

Wouldn't it have only been one out (caught stealing)? The count was 3-1 before the strike call.

The announcers seemed to blame both umpires on the Braves' play, but I don't blame the second base umpire. I think he called the runner out at second because, based on the home plate umpire's call, he thought the batter was out. The plate umpire, however, MUST be disciplined in some way. He clearly called a strike on the batter.

EDIT: Yes, it was just strike 2, so it should have just been an out at 2B, not a double play.

The only possible explanation I can come up with, is that the ump was point to first as if to say "take your base".

My favorite part is when you can see Rollins nearly throw his mitt over the call and yet he gets nothing. Then you see Victorino raises his arms 200 hundred feet farther away and the ump decides that is enough but not when Rollins nearly throws his mitt to the ground in disgust.

I have never seen a season has horrendously called as this year. Which means full blow instant replay will be coming very soon.

It would be just like Bud and MLB to make one stupid move to cover up another.

Yes, because implimenting a system to ensure that the correct call is always made is such a horrible thing.
