We have the arms, we just need to figure out the configuration. Between Grabow, Marshall, Stevens, Marmol, Guzman, and Gregg, were good. As for the 7th spot, Id just assume try Ryan, Gaub, or Parker over anything that would be available through waivers. Yeah, were going to need a closer next year, but I cant see anyone of value being available through waivers.

The slider call to Uggla, the sliders to Gonzalez there. Orel was spot on, you had him 1-2 and you accelerated his bat with fastballs only to throw him sliders.

Yeah, but other than Gregg's 2 pitches and Marmol not knowing how to throw a strike, the cubs pitchers have been lights out. I don't think Hill's game-calling is the problem.

What about that win in Washington that he didn't deserve? Gregg ended up with a 5 out save in that game - gotta cancel out one of his unfair no decisions for that game.

I half-expect to hear that Randy Wells somehow worked with Dave Duncan at some point, so unexpected has his success been. I love it, hopefully after his next start he can jump onto the ERA leaderboard.
