Dang. Warning Track Power....

Out of curiosity are you watching on a non HD TV?

I believe I am.

Just wondering....you commented on Ramirez's warning track drive like a split second after I saw the play happen. I am pretty sure HD programming is on a slight 1-2 second delay over non-HD.

if the wind were blowing out owings would have given up 4 home runs and be out of the game already.

I don't know, the Red bullpen is pretty shorthanded today, aren't they?

Jeez, we need a 2nd baseman....

We need Soto back more than anything. Get him back and he's healthy and he's batting 7 and that is tasty. At that point Fontenot/Baker can do whatever they want in the 8 slot.

Cubs should be in 1st very soon....Pujols is killing the Cardinals with pop ups and DP's fors DAYS now! =D>

We really need to get something better at the 7 spot. We could live with a Fontenot, Baker, or Hill in the 8th spot, but not 2 in the lineup. In a perfect word, thered be a place for Fox, Hoffpauir, or even Johnson every day, but thats not the case. OK, it is the case, but Lou refuses to try Fox behind the plate.

Wouldn't suprise me. Usually, I thought non-HD have at least a 2-3 second advantage over HD programming, from my own experience.

Uh, Soto didn't die.

When he's back he hits #7. Problem solved. With the pitching injuries cropping up it's best not to waste whatever limited trading resources the Cubs by acting like the #8 hitter is a spot that desperately needs to be fixed. They need to either trade for a starter or trade for a lefty reliver to get Marshall back into the rotation.

Anyone with an ounce of brain matter would refuse to use Fox behind the plate unless they absolutely had to.

Soto will be back soon and Fontenot can go hit 8th and be worthless
