is this the funnest game of the year (so far)? I guess the string of walk offs can compete, but so far this has been fun throughout, not just the last innings.

 

Yes it has, especially so because this is a huge game and we all expected to probably be in a tense battle tonight and its turned into hopefully a laugher.

Uh oh, "that" Dempster has suddenly emerged.

Of course he can't just come out and throw strikes. I really wish we would have signed Derek Lowe.

It's on the 5th inning and we're the Cubs. It's still tense for me.

I wouldnt start the laughing quite yet with Demp out there and this Brewers offense

Not to be a downer, but all but 1 of the 13 run scored in the last two wins have come via the longball...

 

I like the power surge, but I'd also like to see some 'situational' hitting as well...

Lowe's walked 3.1/9 this season and is striking out nobody.

 

He's also 4 years older than Dempster.

 

He's also making 2M more per season.
