Do you think there's any truth to saying he's more relaxed now after the weed story broke? At least he doesn't have to stress about it anymore.

I'd have to imagine that's a lot off his mind, though he was definitely hitting much better for at least a couple weeks before the story broke. I wonder if he just was able to get over the nagging little injuries bugging him in April, or maybe the WBC just threw him off.

I'm trying to think, who is having a good year at C in the NL besides McCann? Could Soto actually have an outside shot at an All Star bearth considering the Cubs need one.

Is there any chance Fox gets a shot at 2nd when Aramis returns? It's a little beer league softball but I really like his bat.

I can see why you'd want this to happen, but I can't see Fox being anywhere close to competent at 2B. It's just a different position. He's a corner player, period.

I dont. He has improved every month of the season and had an OPS over 900 for the month of June and that story just broke last week. I think it has more to do with him not getting many reps in the Spring cause of the WBC.

I agree with you. Just another reason for me to hate the WBC.

I think if the WBC has anything to do with it, it's that he wasn't in the same shape he was last year entering into spring training. But yea, I think we both can agree that the WBC negatively affected him at the least.

Not a little beer league, a lot. Defense up the middle is very important IMO.
