And theres got to be something with Bradley even if its only minor. No reason the bench him with the DH option available. Wither trying to break the bat over his knee or when he seemed to hurt his wrist on that dive in the outfield.

Milton Bradley-OF-Cubs Jun. 25 - 11:53 am et

 

According to Chris DeLuca of the Chicago Sun-Times, Cubs manager Lou Piniella will sit the struggling Milton Bradley until Saturday.

 

Bradley has no hits and four strikeouts in his last 10 plate appearances and is batting just .241/.360/.386 for the season.

 

Problem is, Bradley really hasnt been struggling lately. He hasnt lived up to expectaions, but hes been doing fine for himself.

After attending last nights game the Cubs are now 1-12 with me in attendance. Some things I noticed last night, Fox looked good at third, Soto is really slow, and watching Zambrano in BP was awesome, he was throwing balls about 250 feet left handed with little effort.

And that's why I'd like to see him batting leadoff, or at the minimum #2, so that he at least has a CHANCE to be driven in when he's on base 40% of the time. When he's got Fontenot or Soto or some crap behind him, when he's hitting 6th, he's completely worthless in the lineup.
