Fukudome gets to play but Bradley get benched.

Nice.

Fuku still has an OBP near .400 and we dont have anyone better to play CF.

I wonder what Fontenot has to do to get benched.

Have the Cubs sign a good player

And that's why I'd like to see him batting leadoff, or at the minimum #2, so that he at least has a CHANCE to be driven in when he's on base 40% of the time. When he's got Fontenot or Soto or some crap behind him, when he's hitting 6th, he's completely worthless in the lineup.

It's "still" that high only because it started off so much higher. He's had a .267 OBP in June.

According to Chris DeLuca of the Chicago Sun-Times, Cubs manager Lou Piniella will sit the struggling Milton Bradley until Saturday.

Bradley has no hits and four strikeouts in his last 10 plate appearances and is batting just .241/.360/.386 for the season.

Problem is, Bradley really hasnt been struggling lately. He hasnt lived up to expectaions, but hes been doing fine for himself.

He's 0-10 with 4 K's in his last 10 PA

In Bradley's last 13 PA's, he has a .538 OBP. I don't get the benching.

How about Hoff? If nothign else, it could be entertaining to watch him lumbering around the infield.

Isn't it because his wrist is sore after making that attempt at a diving catch last night?
