Im not going to lie, this is the most evenly matched Ive seen these 2 teams in a while. If Bradley, Soto, and Fontenot are really begining to heat up, that will give us a leg up, and if Soriano decides hes not going approach every at bat like an 8 year old in front of a pineada, that would be huge, but for the most part, offenses are pretty even, and while we have them on starting pitching, they have us on bullpen. It should be a good series. May the less bad team win.

Their line-up doesn't seem that scary. I bet they are saying the same thing about us, though.

That's not at all surprising considering that these two teams are a combined 60-64, eh?

Im not sure about their middle relief but Id take their closer, and lefty setup man over our closer and lefty setup man.

why the heck can't they just make up the game in a day-night EL series next Saturday?

The less amount of games we play right now without Aram, and with us hitting like crap the better. We should have Aram back by the makeup game, and hopefully be hitting alot better.

Liked what I heard from Joshua. Said he seen some things in Milton on videotape that Milton didnt even realize he was doing, and told the guys to quit trying to hit HR's every at bat, and instead be a good hitter who hits for power too.

They have a makeup game this Monday right? A DH on Saturday the 27th would lead to 22 straight games in 21 days before the next scheduled off day. Plus, you might have to jump through hoops with city hall to get permission for a night game in Wrigley Saturday night. And I believe that would be right in the middle of the Taste of Chicago, adding to the trouble of getting players and fans from the south side to the north side.

I hope Theriot gets the message, and the Bradley thing could be a way of turning his season around.

Steve Stone speaking on WGN with Wrigley Field in the background... memories...

You dont have CSN?

It's sad, isn't it? I have WGN and WCIU, but no CSN. I'm contemplating just listening to this on the radio, but I think I'll just bite the bullet and watch WGN. I'd go to a bar but I'm working on some research right now.
