Why is it that all these stupid one-dimensional Thabeet types that no one else seems to have that much trouble with always completely dominate games against ND on the defensive end?

Mizzou got a big win by shooting Oklahoma State out of Mizzou Arena. They've got 3 winnable games coming up(v. aTm, @Colorado, v. Iowa St). Going 7-2 before the brutal back stretch of their schedule would be huge.

-Sweep A&M, Colorado (2), Iowa St. (2) and Nebraska

-Split the four games against Baylor, Texas, K-State and KU.

-Profit

Before I opened Bracketology, my guess was that they would be an 8-9 seed and in the same bracket as Kentucky. And Joe Lunardi confirmed my fears. There's still time to move out of it, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's where they are slotted in March.

LOL...Frank Martin might be the stupidest coach around.

It's super loud in there but Kansas State has to have the dumbest/most annoying fans in the country. They explode after every call against them even the blatantly obvious ones.

Wow Collins gets the bucket, misses the free throw to give them a chance and they Aldrich steals it. Heck of a game.

I hate kU. Aldrich should have fouled out a long time ago. He took a "charge" with four fouls and he clearly didn't have his feet set. Would most likely have made a difference in the finish.

Vitale made way too big a deal of not fouling, IMO. It was a perfectly reasonable option to try and defend for the entire shot clock.

It's certainly defendable but I think I'm fouling in that situation with a 5 second differential.

First of all, I have the best girlfriend in the world, because even though we're in Santa Barbara for the weekend, she was down with watching the game.

Second of all, Sherron Collins is the greatest.

There were two foul calls against KSU that were flat out not fouls. Taylor and COllins on both of their drives weren't touched. That coupled with a free throw violation that wasn't makes me wonder if the refs thought they were in the Phog.

When the Morris brother had the ball you have to foul. He was 0-4.

Erin Andrews told Sherron Collins that he had his swag tonight (or something like that). I'm pretty sure Collins winked at her in return. Anybody else see this?

Well, we've all seen Erin Andrews's swag.

Down 1 with a 5 second differential? I think you have to foul. Likely worst case scenario from fouling gives you enough time to give them 4 shots at missing a free throw and only needing a 2 in about 10 seconds to tie. You wait it out and the likely best case scenario is having 5 seconds to score a bucket, probably off a loose ball.

She's lucky he didn't rub his penis on her in return.

I have a feeling the shine is going to start coming off the Mike Brey era pretty soon (for the national media - a lot of ND fans have already conceded that we've already seen his ceiling as a coach). He still has this rep as a great coach right now, but ND hasn't played any defense whatsoever the last two seasons sine Gene Cross left for Toledo (where, oddly, he's been a total failure thus far - I thought he'd do great there), and his ridiculous failure to ever play more than 7 men consistently is holding back the development of guys like Joey Brooks and Jack Broghammer. We're going to need those two next year to replace Harangody and Jackson's production, and they're getting no minutes at all right now. Tim Abromaitis has been at many points ND's best player this year and yet he never sniffed consistent minutes prior to this season. It makes no sense.

I didn't think this team could possibly disappoint me more than last year's team, but something like 6-12 in league play is completely in play here and I expected a lot more.

Gus Johnson is doing the UT/UF game. Sweet.

Son of a. We're getting Minnesota-Ohio State.

It's been a good game so far, even though we're not playing well at all.

Gus has been awesome, though.
