Rondo had plenty of talent around him as he was part of the last UK #1 recruiting class with Crawford, Morris, etc.

 

Wall has more touches than Rondo did, especially in situations where he is trying to score/create his own shot and that's something Rondo couldn't do. Rondo scored mainly in transition and off the dribble drive/pick and roll.
