Were it not for Carolina's trade I'd give their draft thus far an A++. As it is I'll give them an A-. You can't do much better than to get 1st round value in the 2nd and 2nd round value in the 3rd. We got - hopefully - our #2 wideout and - hopefully - our franchise quarterback, and hey, maybe Edwards will set the world on fire, who knows.

I would give the 49ers an A so far. Loved the first two picks yesterday, Mays fills a need and has the potential to be truly great and Navarro is a great pass rusher although he is supposedly not a great fit over all for 3-4. The only part I haven't like so far was giving up a 4th rd pick to move from 13 to 11 but we made up for that by moving from 79 to 91 and getting a 6th and 2011 4th in return.

Funny stuff on here with all the Pete Carroll stuff, but I really dont get the name "poodle" for him.

Seahawks have had a great draft. I am suprised that they resisted temptation to make a deal for #14 but Thomas was just too good. Good resist on the QB's though.

Tate already winning Seahawk fans with his twittering

All right Big 10 homers and OldMissCub or someone along the name of that. Heh.

Give me the juice on these guys that KC picked.

Jon Asamoah,

Tony Moeaki,

and for OldMissCub or any SEC/Ole Miss fans,

Dexter McCluster.

Golden is certifiably insane. I love him. I think he's going to be great.

I was hoping for Asamoah with the Vikings second 2nd round draft pick. He's a solid guard that people think could slide to center. Was a consensus #2/#3 guard.

Moeaki could be a steal if he can stay healthy. Big knock on him was durability but when healthy he's as complete of a tight end as you can find. Ferentz constantly says he's the best blocking tight end he's coached. He's not one of those freak size/speed TE's but he has great hands, runs good routes and has solid speed.

Asamoah's a quick, athletic guard that can pull with the best of them. Quick enough to get on a linebacker, good footwork and technique, not a mauler. He's very good in pass or run blocking. Maybe more of a zone-type guy at the next level, though.

he's a great value at 68.

OMC has seen him more, but McCluster is extremely agile and quick and appears to be a good receiver out of the backfield. Due to his size, I don't see him as a feature back but he can be a playmaker out of the backfield and split wide at WR. He doesn't have a ton of straight line speed, but once he gets the ball he's really hard to bring down.

Tennessee had a very good defense last year and McCluster sliced us up for 324 total yards. He can be very similar, I think, to Reggie Bush.

Bingo. If he stays healthy, he will turn into a pro bowl TE.

Derrick Morgan

Damian Williams

Rennie Curran

If you had told me this would be the Titans' draft through Friday night, I would have been thrilled. And I am thrilled. Would've probably liked Gilyard over Williams, but that's more of a nitpick than anything. Bruce Campbell, Lamarcus Coker, Levi Brown, Dominique Franks, Kyle Calloway, Myron Rolle and Randy Phillips are all guys I'd like the Titans to look at Saturday.

Agreed. I'm so happy with this draft. And now I'm happy we took a corner. With the Lenwhale trade, think we're targeting a RB with the next pick?

Nice to see Alteraun Verner go to Tennessee.

Supposedly they have said he is a WR. I would like to say they would get creative and use all kinds of motion bringing him into the backfield sometimes and keeping him split out wide but I believe Charlie is his OC I don't see him getting creative.

Heh? Charlie Weis is absolutely nothing as an offensive coordinator if not creative.

rams get uh-oh. good pick, athletic, big-assed TE. you can never go wrong with a samoan, either.

Yeah but he's 0-3 at the Jones Dome.

Really kinda bummed the Chiefs passed on Cam Thomas twice in the 5th round. They're insanely thin there and he's a great value in the 5th.

I'm afraid to admit that I haven't watched a minute of the draft, but this sport science thing is AWESOME.
