I hope this isn't one of those games where the pitcher is effective just because nobody has seen him yet.

If we lose to a guy named PJ Mathews, consider me worried.

 

If that happens, I'd be really concerned about this team.

 

Edit: PJ Walters. Sorry I messed up his name. Either way, Z needs to win, not do the "6 runs in 3 innings and a temper tantrum" thing that happens once a year vs. the Cardinals.

FFS Lou, just because Hoff hits lefty doesn't mean you have to hit him fourth.

 

Only on NSBB can I see "FFS" and figure out its meaning with very little effort.

Didn't he do the same thing last year when a regular player was out he'd just put the replacement into the same spot in the lineup?

The entire lineup, except for Rasmus is hitting .281 or high; of those all but one are above .300. I think the Cards are due for an offensive slump.
