Luis Rivas in at third base, Darwin Barney is the new shortstop, Andres Blanco is now in at second and David Patton the new pitcher.

Right now on the field:

P: David Patton

C: Koyie Hill

1B: Jake Fox

2B: Andres Blanco

SS: Darwin Barney

3B: Luis Rivas

LF: Brad Snyder

CF: Sam Fuld

RF: Doug Deeds

DH: Micah Hoffpauir

I don't think I've ever seen a Cubs lineup with less known commodities...

It really says something when the top two prospects in the lineup are Micah Hoffpauir and Darwin Barney.

Pain of ending a 97 win season = spoiling the dodgers first spring training game

Clearly I'm on top of this more than Pat Hughes who called the RF "Robnett" and then "Hobnett" and then said he had no idea who was in right field.

Did he say "it's spring training for us, too?"

he's already said that.

Sure, the Dodgers may have swept the Cubs in the playoffs last year, but this year's Cubs are improved enough to beat them with minor leaguers.
