In all seriousness though I am so happy that the Packers drafted him. So far he has displayed the strength to play NT, the speed to play UT, and even the ability to drop into coverage from time to time. That versatility will be invaluable for the Packers' new defense.

Frankly, I'm going to enjoy seeing that big screen the 5-6 times I'm in my seats in that brand new stadium. I didn't go to the preseason game Friday, but I talked to a friend he did and he said it is amazing. He said the view on those screens are phenomenal!

I missed the game too. I had a couple of friends go to the Chelsea/America game at the stadium and everyone said it is amazing, both the stadium and the screen.

Cutler throws a horrible INT and throws another ball right between the numbers of a LB: "It's just the preseason, he's fine. He won't make those throws in the regular season once he's settled in."

 

Favre goes 1-4: "LOL and he threw it into double coverage"

So Seahwaks are 2-0 in the preseason but once again already decimated with injuries on the O-Line. Any rumors out there of who could be available to fill in for LG and LT?

Well, how about this: Dolphins just traded Andy Alleman and Ike Ndukwe to KC for an undisclosed draft pick. That's great news for the Dolphins.

 

Last season, when Donald Thomas got hurt in game 1, Ike started every game at right guard and was basically space filler. When LG Justin Smiley went down in week 12, it was Andy Alleman who took over the rest of the season. Neither was projected to start this year with Thomas and Smiley back, but if they're completely dispensable, that's a great sign for the health and depth of the Dolphins' line this year. They must be quite impressed with Shawn Murphy and Joe Berger.

Philip Rivers has signed a 6-year, $92 million deal.

 

The extension is for six years and is worth $92 million, a source told ESPN.com. About $38-39 million is guaranteed.

I really like Phillip Rivers. The guy is a fierce competitor, and a real cocky [expletive], I like that kind of fire in a QB. He is also really starting to come into his own. I'm wondering if the Giants stuck with Rivers what would have happened.

I'm talking about the way he carries himself on the field. He's really good, and that's the shame because I hate jackasses that are also really good. Some people get off on jerks who can back it up, but I find it very annoying. Rivers and Delhomme (with the constant whining) are the two QBs I least enjoy watching because of how they act on the field. On the other hand, I want to hate Brady because I can't stand the Patriots, but there's really nothing to hate about Brady.
