I remember a lot of discussion pre draft (and pre first Bears pick) that Iglesias would be a nice first pick by the Bears. That they got him here seems like Angelo scored big time trading that pick.

If Iglesis is gone.

1)Iglesis

2)Maiava

3)DJ Moore

4)Shawn Nelson (as a hybrid WR/TE)

5)Murphy

I'm thinking DJ Moore and Murphy. Murphy has more much speed than Iglesias.

They need a poss. WR more than another Hester (murphy)

Murphy's much different from Hester. He's 6'2", 205 lbs, bigger than Hester. He has speed, but projects to be a guy that can go over the middle better than Hester.

He's bigger but he doesn't use size to his advantage b/c he doesn't run good routes nor fights off jams. He's a WR that doesn't know how to play WR.

Before the last 10 picks of the 2nd round, I listed the best 16 potential players the should/would reasonably pick. After the 2nd round, with 4 picks until the Bears draft, 12 of those guys are still on the board.

My best available for the Bears (mostly in order):

Louis Murphy- WR

Jauquin Iglesias- WR

Rashad Johnson- FS

Michael Johnson- DE

Duke Robinson- OG

Lawrence Sidbury- DE

Jarron Gilbert- DL

Roy Miller- DT

Tyrone McKenzie- OLB

Jason Phillips- LB

Chris Baker- DT

Kevin Barnes- CB

Bears got 2 of my top 7 guys. Never thought that would be possible. I'd love Duke Robinson at 105, but I think the Bears go DB.

This has been a weird few months as a Bears fan, actually enjoying the moves they've made.

It's definitely a nice changeup from normal Chicago sports...

I'll second the wish for Duke.

I'm really really hating this 49ers-Panthers trade right now. We could have had Everette Brown with our second round pick which is probably a better prospect then whatever we get with the Panthers pick next year. Plus we gave up our fourth rounder. So here I sit bored waiting till the fifth round.

I'm happy with our QB, RB, and first few rounds of the draft. That's never happened in my lifetime.

So who are they taking at 105? Butters don't answer.

I'm hoping...

Maiava

DJ Moore

I was thinking Moore as well. I don't know anything about Maiava

Rotoworld likes our WR pick.

An outstanding pick. Iglesias, Heisman winner Sam Bradford's go-to guy in 2008 with 1,150 yards, 10 scores, and 74 catches, could be an immediate upgrade over Rashied Davis in the slot. Iglesias ran pro routes at OU and is quicker than fast. He profiles similar to Derrick Mason with the right development. Iglesias was our favorite wideout left after day one.

He'd be an ideal WILL LB in the Bears system.

I'd really like to see the Bears resign Lloyd now. Hester/Lloyd/Iglesias/Bennett would be a solid corps.

Rather have Matt Jones or maybe DJ Hackett. I'd like to see them sign Mike Brown at this point, with no FS likely to be brought in til the 5th round at this point.

I suppose I don't mind commercials so much during the draft, but why not have the pick is in warning during commercials? It's not as if it would really distract from commercials people probably aren't really watching anyway.

In fact, I'd probably notice the commercial even more if ESPN warned me that a pick is in.

I'll take a Derrick Mason on the Bears. Yes please.
