Two weeks are left in the season and we have some awesome games coming up. Also, the Pro Bowl rosters have been released.

The Jets of all teams lead everybody with seven selections, while the Cowboys and Giants both have five in the NFC. The Titans put six on the team - and probably should have had Bironas in over Gostkowski, but oh well. The Steelers kinda got a screwjob with just three players - none on offense.

Here are this week's games:

Thu, Dec. 18, 8:15 p.m. NFL Network

Indianapolis @ Jacksonville - Colts clinch playoff berth with win

Sat, Dec. 20, 8:15 p.m. NFL Network

Baltimore @ Dallas

Sun, Dec. 21, 1 p.m.

CBS

Cincinnati @ Cleveland

Pittsburgh @ Tennessee - Titans get #1 seed with win

Miami @ Kansas City

San Diego @ Tampa Bay

FOX

New Orleans @ Detroit - Lions continue their pursuit of reverse perfection

San Francisco @ St. Louis

Arizona @ New England

Sun, Dec. 21, 4-4:15 p.m.

CBS

NY Jets @ Seattle

Houston @ Oakland

Buffalo @ Denver - Broncos clinch division w/win and SD loss

FOX

Philadelphia @ Washington

Atlanta @ Minnesota - Vikes clinch division w/win

Sun, Dec. 21, 8:15 p.m. NBC

Carolina @ NY Giants - winner clinches #1 seed

Mon, Dec. 22, 8:30 p.m. ABC

Green Bay @ Chicago

If I forgot any playoff stipulations for games (which I'm sure I did), throw them out there and I'll edit this post.

Go Ravens, Falcons, Chargers and Redskins!

If that happens (probably best case scenario for Bears):

5. Atlanta* 10-5

6. Dallas 9-6

7. Tampa Bay 9-6

8. Chicago 9-6

9. Philadelphia 8-6-1

1. Minnesota 9-5

2. Chicago 9-5

The Cowboys game versus the Ravens will be the last in Texas Stadium before the Boys move to their new digs in Arlington.

Go Cowboys!

and also...

Go Vikings!

Go Chargers!

Go Redskins (I just threw up in my mouth a little)

It'd be awesome if they became the Arlington Cowboys.

Go Vikes.

Hopefully the Bears are eliminated by Monday and then the Bears beat us Monday night to help our draft pick out. Best case scenario. And I sure hope the Saints don't lose to the Lions, I want us to be the team that loses to Detroit. Someone would lose their job and we could get a top 7 pick in the draft then. Where do I sign up?

I want Bob Sanders (D-Cordinator) to lose his job. Badly.

As do I. A loss against the Lions should make that a reality as well as possibly putting McCarthy and/or Thompson on the hot seat for next season.

I give Thomson and McCarthy a bit of a break because of last year (although last year was mostly Brett's doing). McCarthy has showed potential but he still makes horrible mistakes that he shouldn't be making at this point and if Thompson doesn't get some O-line depth this offseason I am going to be really upset. But Sanders is a big problem because there is too much talent for the D to struggle this badly.

http://www.nj.com/giants/index.ssf/2008/12/exsaints_wr_joe_horn_to_visit.html

Almost five years ago to the day, Saints wide receiver Joe Horn scored a touchdown against the Giants, lifted up the pad on the goal post and pulled out a cell phone. The Giants have finally returned his call.

On a day when the team signed free-agent receiver Derek Hagan to aid a passing game lacking Plaxico Burress, the Giants also dialed up Horn and invited him for a visit, according to someone informed of the Giants' plans to meet with the 13-year veteran.

Horn, 36, has been a free agent since the Falcons released him on Aug. 19, after Horn requested a trade. He spent one season with the Falcons after being cut by New Orleans in March 2007. Horn, the Saints' all-time touchdown leader, had 27 receptions for 243 yards and one touchdown with Atlanta.

The pride of Itawamaba Community College and Jerry Rice workout tapes is back! I often times cry myself to sleep at night thinking about if Joe Horn in his prime had Drew Brees throwing the rock to him instead of Aaron Brooks.

so is the Bears' only shot to go 2-0 while the Vikings go 0-2?

Not the only but pretty much. One Falcons and Bucs win in the last 2 games eliminates the Bears from the WC. And I think the Falcons play the Rams and the Bucs play the Raiders in Week 17.

So Like I said we basically have to go 2-0 to make it and if we go 2-0 and the Vikes go 0-2 we are guaranteed in right?

Carolina clinches the #1 seed with a win but stands an excellent chance of falling into a division tie if they lose because they go to New Orleans in week 17 (no NFC South team has beaten another on the road) while Tampa and Atlanta play cupcakes.

It's not quite the ultimate all-or-nothing game because we'll make the playoffs no matter what but it's very very important.

I hate that Vanden Bosch and Haynesworth are both out this week because I see this game as a bit of national proving grounds for the Titans. People claim we haven't played anybody (I guess Indy, Chicago, Minnesota and Baltimore are nobody), so winning this game would increase our national standing.

It'd also make me feel better. The recent losses to Houston and the Jets have me a bit worried and beating Pittsburgh would relieve me somewhat. We still can, but it's going to be tough as crap without two of the best defensive linemen in the game.

Plus, if the Titans have two home playoff games, there's more of a chance I'll be able to get tickets to one of them.

Pacman practiced today and will play against the Ravens on Saturday.

Dallas Cowboys cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones, who suffered a herniated disk in his neck against the Pittsburgh Steelers two weeks ago, returned to practice Wednesday, and coach Wade Phillips said he will play Saturday against the Baltimore Ravens.

Another weekend of crappy football on TV.

In the morning, I get the San Francisco-St. Louis game. In the early afternoon, I get Oakland-Houston (if by some miracle it gets blacked out, I get the slightly better Buffalo-Denver game). I'll also get either Philadelphia-Washington or Atlanta-Minnesota (hoping for this one).

Can the playoffs please start soon so I can be done with the Niners and Raiders games.

It's kinda crazy the Panthers can get the number 1 seed with a win. Are you counting on them to be crappy again next year like they always seem to do after a playoff season?

We get the Rams and the Chiefs, who combined have won half as many games as the Niners and Raiders. Thankfully the semester is over on Friday, so I get to go home to where only the Rams have to be on.
