I've never seen 30 yards lost on a fumble with no return before.

I was following on yahoo and wondering if that was right.

defensive tackle went for the sack and whacked it perfectly backwards. Somehow the linemen or possibly TE were there to keep him from being able to return it

Oh, yahoo, you make so much sense:

"4th-31, Minnesota 11

M. Birk rushed up the middle for 22 yard loss. M. Birk fumbled. T. Jackson recovered fumble"

Bad snap?

yeah

I'm not getting my hopes up, but so far this is the exact perfect scenario for the Bears with Dallas and TB already losing, and Minnesota and Philly up by 10 in the third quarter of their games.

Go tie! Go tie!

With ties being such unlikely outcomes, I am not going to assume one can exist in my "perfect scenario". I sure as hell won't root for Atlanta to blow a 17 point lead and sweat through an OT with the Bears division hopes hanging in the mix.

Me neither, but if it happens, it happens.

The Redskins just tried to cover Westbrook with a DL...needless to say the DL pulled up limping as Westbrook caught a pass and raced down the sidelines.

This is absolutely incredible. They haven't stopped our offense yet. Tarvaris has been perfect. We cannot hold on to the mother scratching ball and then when it looks like we get a break, three guys miss falling on a fumble and they get the touchdown.

yeah that was pretty funny.

in other news, i wonder how a qb with 10 years in the nfl (mcnabb) still doesn't have that clock in his head to know that he should throw the ball after he's been standing in the pocket for 5 seconds.

You're talking about a QB who was surprised that the game ended tied after 15 minutes of OT. I think his clock is broken.

Neither QB has been overly intelligent. Did Campbell really think he was gonna beat Dawkins to the sideline?

I was actually a mistake by T.Jackson. He was in shotgun and lifted his leg before he was ready and the snap sailed past him.

Favre just threw a pick and Seattle will win 13-3.

Miss the playoffs please, Jets.

What's with you and the Jets? just the game earlier this season?

If Favre is on and with Kris Jenkins in the middle of the line, I worry about a matchup with the Jets more than I do almost any other team.

The game earlier has little to do with it, we were on a huge streak and had just finished a stretch of four very tough games. We were bound to lose - and we did, big.

The matchup against the Jets simply worries me more than the Patriots, Dolphins or Ravens.
