by the way, who wants to guess the point spread on the psu-osu game? no peeking.

PSU -1.5 is my guess. Fairly non-scientific.

Looks like lines are out in a few different places now. I'm seeing it anywhere between PSU -1 and -2.5.

Ball State being ahead of BYU in the BCS is big. If we keep winning, BYU can beat Utah and not pass us, and Boise State finds a way to lose, the Cards could still find their way to the Orange Bowl.

A lot of if's, but fewer than it would've been if BYU were ahead of us.

Tulsa is ahead of us, but I think we could pass them by going 13-0.

If we lose to Colorado I'm going to go on a rampage.

I can't imagine you'll lose to them.

We'll see what happens. They aren't good at all, but I think it'll be interesting. The crowd will be a bit restless after two straight losses I'm sure, and if things start slowly, they'll be even more pissy.

The game is sold out, but I'm hoping a lot of people don't show up. You have no idea how many people's away messages or facebook statuses were calling for Chase's head. I even saw one last night that said they wanted Chase Patton to start. I must've forgotten about all those blocks and tackles Chase Daniel missed last night.

6. Okie State

OkSU fans tend to get their panties in a wad when you refer to anyone from Oklahoma as "okies". It's one of those regional slurs that originated during the Great Depression. I personally don't mind it, though.

I will be cheering for the bright orange clad sheep shaggers this week, though. :banghead:

Y'all's OL needs to learn how to pick up stunting DLs.

The sad state of Oklahoma ;-)

UCLA @ Cal (-17.5)

It won't be that close.

Considering how badly this season has gone, I actually feel pretty decent about the Alabama game.

I don't think we'll win, but I think the players will be in good spirits and confident after the massive beatdown of Miss St and, hopefully, the fans will follow suit.

That said, I think Bama will come into the game ready and not overlooking us (thanks to it being a rivalry and the scare the Tide received against Ole Miss). Therefore, we'll hang close, but ultimately lose.

And Fulmer's job will drop to even more dire danger.

I guess I spoke too soon about Greene not getting much attention because of the close losses.

Here's Mel Kiper's take

CNNSI also has him at #5 on their Heisman watch and one of the bloggers has him as Big Ten MVP as does Mike Hall from the BTN. Chris Martin said Ringer and Wells aren't on his level and thinks he's definitely the best back in the country.
