I like how he took Gordon out right after he hit a huge 3 and right after he made the biggest hustle play I've seen him make in 4+ years in Chicago.

Del Negro's a buffoon. Still, I'm shocked that this team is going to win three in a row.

dangit these guys are playing themselves out of a better pick.

Don't worry, they'll just play their way back into the top 10. They aren't going to win the lottery again, though. :(

I think this team has more to gain by sneaking into the 8th seed and getting slaughtered by Cleveland, Boston, or Orlando than it does by getting a low lottery pick.

Meh, I still think this team is better than the likes of Milwaukee, New Jersey, Charlotte, and Indiana. I can see them making the playoffs as an 8 seed and encountering one of the most embarrassing performances known to man in a four game series.

I hope so. The last thing I want is Indiana to somehow sneak into the 8th seed. They need to get themselves in the lottery, hopefully a quality big like Griffin/Monroe/Hill will be the result.

Who cares? Do you really think another draft pick to develop is what this team needs?

I've never been so apathetic about looking forward to the draft.

Derrick Rose is incredible.

He needs to work on the d and the jump shot, but yes, he is incredible.

Kirk pissed me off tonight. I've never seen such whining from a player. When did Luol Deng turn into a basketball [expletive]? That guy used to be a good transition guy, now every time he touches the ball in transition he turns it over.

Have I ever mentioned that one of the reasons I despise basketball is because a team that is 21-27 has legit playoff hope?

not in the West they don't

anyways, this game had me really confused tonight; the Bulls were actually running something that looked like offense? Since when?

it's like 2009 Bulls + Hinrich - Gooden/Hughes = decently competitive team

Whoever is teaching Derrick Rose how to play man to man defense needs to be fired. I actually thought he was one of the better defensive guards in the draft (at least average) after Westbrook and Mayo but he's a freakin turnstile out there. He leans forward, get zero knee bend, and cannot move laterally quick enough from that position.

I'm thinking they're trying to teach him team defensive principles first and foremost but at this point he can at least use his athleticism to keep guys out of the lane.

Oh well--frustrating loss but the Rockets are a good team and the Bulls just had no answer for Yao or Scola.

The Bulls are playing really well lately, on the road no less...but I'm not going to get excited just yet. We've seen flashes of brilliance before from these guys. They do seem like they are having more fun out there though.

Just turned the game on... I see the score.

Has it been this big of a mugging? Have the Bulls actually been playing awesome, or have the Hornets just been bad as usual without Paul?

Playoff teams have to win games like this, when the opponent's missing their best player. Very impressive.

Hopefully this is the Bulls rounding into shape a bit and not just a fluke brought on by other teams' January/February swoons.

I really like the improvements I am seeing from Tyrus Thomas finally. Good stretch of games the last few weeks.

The Bulls are a mess right now from the front office to the roster, but its good to see them playing well again. This 7 game road trip could have been the end of the season. We all know they are playing for 2010, but its nice to see them not pack it in when things really got tough a week ago.
