So I only saw the highlights on Sportscenter, but what happened on that play where Bibby stole the ball from Gordon and Gordon feel on the ground? Was that a foul?

At least Larry "Cry me a river" Hughes is close to being jettison to Noo Jawsey. My principles of the trade as of right now would be Hughes for Bobby Simmons, the Chicago area product. While I am hoping Paxson grows a pair of Ron Jeremy and get Chris Douglas Roberts included into the deal.

Simmons is a pretty decent player and could fit in nicely until Deng actually gets good again

The best thing for the Bulls is to keep losing and hopefully win the draft lottery again. Let's face it our veterans are crap. Hinrich, Gordon, Deng, Nocioni, Hughes all have been disappointments and it's best to move on. Gordon is probably off the hook since his contract expires this season but we must move Hughes, Hinrich, and Nocioni. They just are not that good. I really don't understand how we were such a good team for a while we these guys? They got paid and it seems their desire fell off the cliff.

The 05/06 & 06/07 seasons under Skiles just might go down as some of the greatest NBA coaching ever.

How the hell can you be down by 2 with 3:50 left in the game and end up losing by 20? We are so ridiculously bad! We let them finish on a 20-2 run...Does anyone ever play defense?

Please just fire Paxson and Del Negro

and get rid of Deng, Gordon, Hughes, Gooden, Noah, and Nocioni and rebuild this year and next

Another sickening loss by this group of chokers. Ugh.

Also, why is Derrick Rose allowed to be hacked in the lane with impunity? Does anyone who gets into the lane with such ease get this bad of treatment from the refs? It's disgusting.

What's the over/under on VDN getting fired this offseason? I mean it can't be good that it doesn't take a season before the players already have tuned you out.

This what happens when your team owner runs the basketball organization as a hobby, and not as a business venture, and he makes decision on bringing in a dirt-cheap coach with absolutely NO reputation as a leader or coaching experience. I know it's been said, but I think Paxson is starting to feel the hot seat (considering his recent public statement that the Bulls are "not a good team right now). I wondering if Paxson is going to be aggressive between now and through the summer? Everybody but Rose SHOULD BE AVAILABLE without a doubt.

I'd be surprised if VDN weren't fired by the end of the regular season.

Or rather, I'd be surprised if he weren't fired if you don't factor in that John Paxson was the one who hired him.

Wasn't Paxson's fault Cheapsdorf wanted to save money and not go out and get Collins or Dan Tony.

Just tank it. We have to find a taker and get something decent for Gordon. I hope there's a market for a microwave scorer for a playoff team.

True, but the wasteland of talent that is the current roster is Paxson's fault.

But proxy of taking the QO, BG basically has a no-trade clause. it's not label as a no trade clause, but the Bulls would need BG's permission to trade him. So unless BG really wants to move on, I doubt the Bulls will trade BG, otherwise the Bulls could easily get a future 1st rd for a 20ppg scorer.

You don't think Gordon would want to leave a sinking ship team that isn't going to sign him to Max Dollars in the offseason, and that he'd veto a trade to a contender, all the while he's had public feuds with the coach?

He'd be an idiot to not accept a trade.

My understanding is if BG does consent to a trade he losses his Bird Rights, which means he can't use the Bulls as a possible S-N-T (The Bulls could offer BG the most as a Bird Rights, but without Bird Rights BG lose that option for getting money) worked out in the offseason. Which would mean he more then likely won't get more the MLE or something close. So I doubt he'll agree to a trade, but you'll never, tho.

Besides Deng/Gordon, who do they have to trade away for something? Ben Gordon will be gone after this year. Tyrus Thomas is so inconsistent, and is probably going to go down as a bust. Joakim Noah is a rebounder, and that's it. Noc is a role player. Hinrich is ok (not a superstar or a star). Gooden is ok (not a superstar or a star).

You know no one wants Larry Hughes when he's been shipped to NJ for a Bobby Simmons player (who is averaging 7 ppg).

--

Since 1999, the Bulls draft order has been #1 (Brand), #4 (Fizer), #4 (Curry)/traded Brand for #2 (Chandler), #2 (Jay Williams), #7 (Hinrich), #3 (Gordon), 05 = no picks (Paul/Williams/Felton/Bynum/Green year), #2 (Aldridge traded for Thomas)/#16 (Carney traded for Thabo), #9 (Noah), #1 (Rose).

Yikes, that is horrible.

Hinrich has by far the best trade value out of any Bull besides Rose at this moment. Remember, no teams consider any of the Bulls players besides Rose to be current or future stars, so it's about finding teams that need a Hinrich like player to fill a role, possibly starting PG, but also possibly a 6th or 7th man.

Gone are the days where we can packages 2-3 of our core players and pick up a superstar. That won't happen, other teams don't see any potential stars anymore. No one trades a star for 3 role players. So all a trade can do is trade role players for different role players. The only way a trade like that makes sense is if you can get someone who has low post scoring/defense, someone who is an especially great defender, or most importantly, someone whose contract comes off the books before 2010 (especially important with regards to Hinrich, Nocioni and Deng whose contracts all go past 2010)

Yeah. Gone are the days because our owner insisted on hiring a joke for a coach over the objection of anyone who had a brain, and our GM can't draft worth a crap and can't pull the trigger on a deal when his players have some value.
