Given, I'm coming into this blind, because I know nothing about the Bulls' coach. But, when Mike Brown came here, he made himself look like a fool time after time. He admitted that his offensive knowledge was lacking. He put LeBron in a lot of "hey, go do something awesome" situations. But, he learned. He got better. His offensive knowledge has increased probably 5-fold.

 

Although, he did always have the defensive knowledge. Hopefully Del Negro has some specialty that he can hang his hat on.

Imagine how good this team would be if we had an actual professional head coach like D'Antoni.

They still wouldn't be that good. A coach can't make terrible players all-stars.

OK, so, currently the Bulls have a better record than 13 other teams in the league. The players aren't terrible. Frustrating? Probably.

 

And, a coach and a scheme makes a huge difference in basketball.

Forgot about that. Regardless, outside of Rose the talent on the team is pretty pathetic

But he's right when he says the Bulls personnel has some major glaring issues.

Loving the "defense be damned philosophy this year". That combined with minimal offensive talent is a wonderful combination.

 

i'm waiting for Vinny to copyright the "Stand Around Offense" and "Stand Around Defense".

Is Drew Gooden the worst defender in the NBA?

Rose with 8 and 7 at the half.

 

He's truly awful on defense.

 

It's just unfortunate that we wasted a great performance from Gordon last night. I also liked how we decided to go away from him in the 2nd half when he was back in the game. That's what we're best at when Gordon's hot.

Luol Deng's horrid contract could become a big deal in a few years when this team still sucks. Paxson made a HUGE mistake given Deng a huge contract over Gordon.

At this point, even giving Gordon an extension would be a huge mistake.

Rose still has a lot to do to become the best PG in the East. Devin Harris is unreal.

 

And the Bulls have really choked as the Nets are on a 15-2 run right before the half. Great job guys.
