- The NFC East is really good, and Philly is better than they look.

- Miami is clearly the class of the AFC East right now, oddly enough.

- New England, Indy, Jacksonville, and Seattle are nowhere near good teams right now.

- Detroit and St. Louis are comparatively worse than the NFL more so than any team is better than the NFL. Those ratings are two of the worst 5 ever recorded after four games.

Wow! It's an exciting time to be a Dolphins fan. I'm still keeping my enthusiasm down, but we got a realistic shot, with the way we're playing and our schedule, to make the playoffs.

Please no letdown against the winless Texans. They aren't bad for an 0-4 team. However, they have one of the worst run defenses in the league so the R&R Express should have another BIG game.

So far I think Dallas is the best team despite these numbers. The NYG/Dal game will tell me a lot. Im beginning to be a big believer in Washington too. Yeah the NFC east is great.

baltimore is the #2 team in the nfl? lol.

Their defense has been far and away the best in the NFL to this point. The offense is average and the ST is bad, but the defense offsets that enough to put them at #2.

Dallas/Arizona could be very interesting as the Dallas secondary has had some injury problems.

Whats the over/under on that game?

It's been something, hasn't it? I've been really impressed with the way both lines have been revamped, and the results have really shown the last two weeks.

Speaking of rankings...ESPN having Miami at 23 is a freaking joke. Especially since they have the 2-3 Chargers, who Miami JUST BEAT, at 16.

The ridiculous thing is that they'll likely get more respect after beating a hapless Houston team just because of the subsequent record being over .500.

That happens all the time, especially when the "lesser team" won at home.

Marvin Harrison is getting sued by the victim of the shooting over the summer, according to ESPN.

Will this be a distraction for the Colts, perhaps?

"Look, it's our position that Marvin Harrison was the shooter," said Dixon's attorney, Robert M. Gamburg, according to the Daily News. "But even if you believe the other theory, Marvin's gun was still used in the shooting, so he was negligent for leaving the weapon where someone else could obtain it."

Under Pennsylvania law, Harrison could face misdemeanor charges if police determine his gun was used in the commission of a crime.

Doubt seriously anything will come of it, but it's interesting nonetheless.

Thank God! I felt like that was just throw under the bus for a few months. I thought it was kind of a big deal

I was having a hard time figuring out how NYG defense could be so bad ass without Strahan and OSI. Well they have played Washington, STL, Cincy and Seattle. Not exactly offensive juggernauts. Cleveland kinds sucks this year so that doesnt appear to be much of a challenge either.

And something of interest found looking at the QBs stats this year.

Cassel sacked 15 times this year. 104 PA

2007 Brady sacked 21 times. 578 PA

Don't understand Baltimore at 2? There good but, not that good and Don't understand Philadelphia at 4 at 2-3 don't care if they were close games?

Baltimore and Philly both outplayed their opponents statistically despite losses. Whether they won or lost the game has no bearing on the stats and statistical rankings.

there 2-3...they lost to the bears which they didn't play better than...They ended up getting beat pretty handily by Dallas. The closest they got was the Washington game which I will give you they outplayed them. Also statistics aren't the only thing that matters when factors in how good a team is.

No, the Eagles significantly outplayed the Bears statistically in the game, despite the score. Statistics matter much more than wins when determining how good a team is now and how good they will be going forward.

Well at 2-3 in the division and 2 of those losses to the teams above them in there division I don't like their chances from hear on out especially cause they still need to play the best team in the Giants. I know what your saying, but for the Eagles in that division statistics don't matter, wins matter more

Unbelievable how Cleveland is turning out. I was a fool for thinking they would be good.

Time for Crennel to be shown the door. He's got talent to work with on that roster.

I'll give it 3 completely embarrassing 'drives' by Derek Anderson on Monday before they make the move, but I am probably underestimating Crennel's stupidity.

And they probably win the game if Andy Reid just has McNabb sneak the ball on fourth and goal rather than handoff to the running back.

Their terrible defense and injured o-line will be more of a problem IMO.

NFL Network's Adam Schefter is reporting the Lions would be willing to part with Roy Williams if the offer is "too good to be true."

If only Matt Millen were still there, too good to be true might be Paul Williams and Chris Henry from the Titans. They were second and third round picks, after all.

The Dolphins need to get on this. They need a #1 receiver, however, I wouldn't give up anything more than one of our 2nd round picks.

The Cowboys have also been rumored. They would be absolutely terrifying if they had Roy Williams opposite TO.
