i won my survival pool today.... there were 2 people left and 2 games that everyone picked today; i picked the right one (minnesota) and the other guy picked the wrong one (washington). i'm shocked that those games were even close. i mean, how do you win at dallas and at philly and then lose to the frickin rams?

Well, the primary issues are that a) he's a cornerback, and b) he can't cover anybody, and constantly gets beat deep. Andre Johnson put 178 up on him. Plus he teased me with that overturned interception that led me to think the Dolphins were about to win. :banghead:

What an embarrassing performance by Carolina. Tampa's a great run defense, the Panthers are better at passing than running, so naturally we don't throw except for like 2 drives. Steve Smith having another 100-yard day after getting thrown to probably 7 times in the game is an upset. Probably the greatest wideout that's been inexplicably ignored by his coaching staff of all time.

 

Tampa is really good. Atlanta pulled one out of their butts. With Washington's embarrassing home loss, the NFC South is right up there with the NFC East (minus about two-thirds the viewing audience).

because he is friends with the players and keeps the house in relatively good order. when you build a team with that many misfits, that's pretty important.
