If you are driven to post any more pictures of chicks, whether animated or real-life, post them under spoiler tags so that the people who want to see them can, and the people who don't won't have to.

Thanks.

My hope if fading fast....

It would be embarrassing to repeat last years awful performance.

Prepared to be embarrassed, given how terrible Zambrano has been lately coupled with the added pressure of the playoffs there's no way he doesn't implode by the 4th.

After this latest playoff flop, for the first time in my life, I'm considering moving on, I've had enough. I don't deserve this nor do any of my fellow Cub fans. This was best Cub team I've ever seen and there's a excellent chance they're not going to manage at least one playoff win.

Can we please just win this game?

Depends on whether Z can get his head on straight and keep it that way.

So...

There's a chance he could keep his head on straight but, lets be realistic, its not going to happen.

Cubs are going to win the next 3, Im going to pretty much guarantee it. Why? Because this morning, I found a quarter in my car. Doesnt sound special, but we never really keep change around. At a stop light, I played coin toss. Heads Cubs, Tails Bad Guys. Heads won all 3. After the that, I threw it onto the passenger seat, and it slipped into that space between the seat and the console, likely never to be seen again. This means something I tell you.

Yeah, the Cubs lost last night. Not the end of the world by far. They have plenty of time to turn it around. I feel good about tonight's game, and I definitely think we have the advantage in game 3. I'm not worried yet.

But if they lose tonight, I'll definitely start thinking about how the Cubs are choking dogs who can only get into the playoffs and can't actually do anything once they get there. Better win tonight bastards.

I choose to believe the real Z is the no hitter Z. He was faking in his final starts. The old rope-a-dope.

This, and a goodly amount of JD will get me through tonight.

I agree with Ski..putting up pics of hot chicks did not work. We need to start putting up pics of some Slumpbusters.

If we don't win tonight, who here thinks we can still win the series?

I guess anything is possible when you are starting an above average pitcher every night.

I think we need Z to be both good AND emotional. Last night's game was listless.

I also think we need Soriano to do well. Many players say that as Soriano goes, the offense goes. The problem with this is that Soriano is one of the least emotional players I've seen on the Cubs. While he shows some spark when he plays well, he never seems to care when he doesn't. I'm sure he's never happy to strike out, but I'd like to see some frustration. I want to see that he cares. Maybe that's not his style, but if the offense takes Soriano's lead, then the conciliatory attitude Soriano displays when he fails seems to rub off on the rest of the team.

I really thought I was more optimistic than this.

There's nothing like the Cubs to show you how that half-full glass of water is about to spill.

If they lose this game I'm going to cry.

I actually feel pretty optimistic about things if they can win tonight. The back of our rotation is better than theirs.

I mean the law of averages has to start evening out, right? We can't possibly go 3 and out for the second straight year...Or can we?

Z needs to pitch a gem tonight and the team needs to relax and just have fun.

Zambrano, Zambrano, Zambrano. Granted, we need him, but he cant do it alone. Some of those bats are going to need a wake up call in a major way. Last night, the offense stunk worse than a dumpster full of dead racoons and rotten eggs.

i feel awful this morning...i am really not a morning person usually, but man...i woke up this morning with some terrible aggression...and DEEP sadness...

someone needs to invent the "Cubs Drug" - a drug so Cub fans don't have to feel anything emotionally during October...please!

i feel like I just woke up next to this chick...that is how bad i feel today
