For superficial epic reasons, I'd like either of the Sox teams to make it to the WS.

Out of those likely to make it, bring on the freakin' Angels. I think they're definitely overhyped thanks to feasting on the worst division in baseball. They're very good, but I don't think they're THAT good.

If the Cubs are in the World Series, it would be a better home environment for all intents and purposes if the White Sox weren't.

The Angels actually went 30-16 (.652) against the AL East this year which is better than they did against the West (35-20, .636) and the Central (24-17, .585). So while they certainly did well against the worst division in the AL, they did even better against the best division.

1. Twins

2. Angels

3. Red Sox

4. Rays

5. White Sox

And in the NL:

1. Cubs

2. Phillies

3. Dodgers

4. Brewers.

If the Brewers or White Sox win the WS, I would be sick to my stomach. I would really rather not see the Rays win either. Do you realize that if the Rays get to the WS, that all 4 expansion teams since the early 1990s would have been in the WS? Sickening.

A "Taking Care of Business" World Series? 8-[

Sox/Twins would be the best chance for the Cubs, but the least likely outcome. I'm also opposed to this, as the worst case scenario this post-season wouldn't be a repeat of last season's sweep, but losing in the WS to the White Sox.

Angels or BoSox.

Wow. Nice reference from a terrible movie.

I just got in an argument with someone who said the Rays can't make it to the World Series because their franchise has no playoff experience. Not because almost all the players have no experience, but because the franchise has no experience.
