someone in my money league at work dropped michael the burner turner, and somehow, me (12th on waiver priority) picked him up.

So now I have Barber, ryan grant, turner, deangelo williams and chris perry to fight for two RB spots. Hopefully Perry does well and I can trade one of the top three for a new QB.

LOL..what an idiot..Theres barley enough feature backs as it is with alot of teams spliting time. Turner is going to have a good year too.Your stacked at RB..Could trade one of them and get a real good WR..

Well, I'm not sure if this is stupid or not because I don't follow news much so maybe he knows something I don't.

Someone in the other division of my league drafted Philip Rivers (7th round) and Jake Delhomme (11th round). Both have the same bye week. Instead of trying to trade his backup QB for a different backup QB, he opted to drop Philip Rivers in favor of Kurt Warner.

I understand maybe dropping your backup for different QB of similar ability, but wouldn't it have made more sense to drop Delhomme for Warner? Or am I just stupid

maybe this should fall under "dumb personal moves," but i went to check one of my fantasy teams and there starting at wide receiver is c. ocho cinco. i almost fell out of my chair laughing. it's one thing to hear that he changed his name, but another thing to see it on a fantasy football roster.

Same for me. What also got me was all the player reports referring to him as "Ocho Cinco"

that move is looking better and better...

i need to call that guy tomorrow and thank him

turner's week one might outscore mendenhall's entire season

I had to face Turner this week.

Which made my decision to leave Forte on the bench unfortunate, if not entirely stupid.

I could start two of A-Pete, Maroney, LJ, Rice and Forte. I went with Maroney and A-Pete, and I need about 29 points tonight out of the latter. Not holding out much hope.

Any openings in your Mensa League?

Turner looked good, but the Lions had some terribly inept tackling on display all afternoon. There were wide lanes for both RBs to run through; who would have thought Rogers' loss would leave them extremely light on the line?

Not Millen & Marinelli, I guess.

Waiting to draft a QB and getting stuck with David Garrard and Chad Pennington.

Although I made up for that in my other league by waiting on a QB and still getting Cutler.

My receiving corps consists of Burress, Winslow, Engram, Javon Walker, Steve Smith, and Reggie Brown. I have to start 3, unfortunately only 2 of them actually played in week one. However, I had the fortune of picking up DeSean Jackson for week 2. Luckily, I had done well enough his bonehead move on the way into the end zone didn't screw me.

Drafting the Chargers defense has become my dumb fantasy move of the season thus far. ](*,)

Wow you as well?

The only reason I got positve points out of them last week was because of the kick return.

I drafted Chad Johnson....before he became Ocho Cinco. And I drafted him over Brandon Marshall (granted he had a 3-game suspension at the time), Steve Smith (2 game suspension), and Plaxico Burress (ankle injury).

How about would-be dumb moves...we did autodraft because everyone couldn't be online at the same time. I got Aaron Rogers and Joe Flacco for QBs. I got a great draw on RBs though. I was trying to package Rogers and Clinton Portis for Drew Brees, Ben Roethlisberger, or Carson Palmer. I'm happy right now that no one took me up on one of those deals.

Drafting Matt Hasselbeck over Jay Cutler. Whoops.

I got Cutler, but I got him in the 7th round, 2 rounds after I drafted Mark Bulger with high hopes of him returning to form.

That's paid off in dividends! I could've gotten McNabb instead
