I know its a long shot, but Toronto is trying to make some noise in the AL wild card eh?

I think ESPN would explode if two teams from the AL East made the playoffs and neither were the Red Sox or Yankees.

The Blue Jays are 7 back in the Wild Card, though. That ain't happening.

I think ESPN will explode if the Red Sox and Yankees don't make the playoffs no matter where the wild card comes from.

Ron said that Kosuke was working in the cage with Perry and watching video to try and stay on the ball more. I think he stayed on that one.

Brenly was talking about Kosuke talking with Lou about working on his swing, too. Apparently he shortened up his stride, but that one looked like Kosuke had a long stride.

The stride looked long still, but his step seemed to be quicker.

I think the key was that he didn't bail out.

And watch, even after another fantastic start by Harden, all the talk will be about Sabathia. Plain and simple, the Cubs got the better end of the 2 deals. Hardens numbers are better than Sabathias since the trade, and the fact we control him for another year pushes the trade to the Cubs.

Yeah, Harden has been nothing short of excellent but, since the trade, CC seems to get more pub.

I know its a long shot, but they are tied with Bost 5-5 in extras right now. If they win they are only 6 out, and the White Sox are also losing again. Im not sure what Torontos schedule looks like, but if they have more against Boston, its a possibility.

Nah, they'll just talk about the global implications of both teams missing the playoffs. And they'll discuss how they missed during the entire playoffs.

Because the media loves things like wins and complete games.
