Ron said that Kosuke was working in the cage with Perry and watching video to try and stay on the ball more. I think he stayed on that one.

 

Brenly was talking about Kosuke talking with Lou about working on his swing, too. Apparently he shortened up his stride, but that one looked like Kosuke had a long stride.

In my opinion, Fuku would benefit from hitting 8th in this lineup. With his eye he should be able to really work the count, and may help him get in better hitters counts.

I love the big ovation Kosuke got when he first stepped to the plate. That had to make him feel good.

Soriano grounded to third base , safe at first on a throwing error, E5

Theriot singled to down the right field line , Soriano to third

A Ramirez grounded into a FC, 4-6, Soriano scored, Theriot out at second

Manning in to pitch for Washington

Ward called out on strikes

I know its a long shot, but Toronto is trying to make some noise in the AL wild card eh?

 

I think ESPN would explode if two teams from the AL East made the playoffs and neither were the Red Sox or Yankees.

 

The Blue Jays are 7 back in the Wild Card, though. That ain't happening.

The stride looked long still, but his step seemed to be quicker.
