Gosh Aramis please be okay, now we have to lay another 5 runs on them to make me feel better

I don't care how many runs we score, I'm not feeling any better unless we hear he's alright.

25 more runs won't make me any less nervous about him

How long would something like, say, a broken rib be expected to keep a baseball player out?

I think it depends on which rib. If its one that seriously effects his swing awhile. If its not, it might only be a week or two. Worst case scenario, Rammy is out a month (but this isn't likely)

That's how I feel too.

He wasn't bleeding. He'll be fine.

Also, the Cubs have so much depth that it seems that we can still do fine without a big player. Doesn't make Aram potentially missing playing time any better, but still.

And the one he appeared to have hurt was his right one, not the left one, so that's good news.

Incredible. Lilly with an easy 1-2-3 inning.

Why couldn't he have done that against the bottom of their order last time?????

It's not Ted. It's THEM.

They exist to play hard only until they hurt one of our players, then they give up.

IT'S FREAKING TRUE. Bastards.

LOL at blaming Quade.

I blame the MLB schedule makers. If we had been playing a different team, this never would've happened.

Julian Tavarez huh? Could it be argued that hes the worst pitcher to ever have a 10 year+ career?

There's a whole laundry list of pitchers that could be added to that list. Trachsel is the first to come to mind.

So if Aramis has to miss any time, will it force Lou to put Soriano at the 4 spot, or would he go with Edmonds/Johnson?

Who cares? It's just the batting order...

I'm more concerned with who plays in his absence.

Yeah, but Trasch had a solid few seasons mixed in. Was Tavarez ever aything better than mediocre?
