The Cubs completely outclassed the Brewers in this series, on and off the field. Throwing at hitters is dumb, complaining all series about close strike 3 calls is [expletive], and completely collapsing whenever the Cubs scored the first run is pathetic. I love how it took the Brewers until the 9th inning when they were down 11-2 to get a hit with RISP.

Throwing at hitters? What happened?

Gagne threw at Edmonds four times and in typical Gagne fashion, he missed all four times. Gagne got tossed and Edmonds laughed at him as he jogged to first.

Hahaha, very nice. If anyone has video of this, please post it.

I thought for sure the benches were going to clear when Gagne hit him.

This is probably already posted somewhere in this thread, but when was the last time the Cubs swept a 4-game road series?

"I guess there's a rule that you can't throw in," Gagne said. "My thoughts don't matter. [The Cubs] played a great four games on us. They beat us. We got schooled."

On that point, there was agreement.

"We got spanked," Yost said.

"We got our [rear ends] kicked," Bush said.

"I'm pretty much embarrassed," Braun said.

So awesome.

Sigging this immediately. Thank you sir.

Baseball can be such a weird game at times.

5 games ago the Cubs were experiencing their worst offensive stretch of the season for a good lenght of time and were tied for first. 5 games later and a 4 game sweep to a hot Milwaukee changed all of that. Amazing last 5 days and amazing 4 game sweep.

5 up on Milwaukee and STL. Crazy but nice.

haha i was watching the highlights on gameday (pretty poor video selection compared to usual, only 4 of them) and when the brewers cameron knocked in their second run (during the 9th inning), they said "give 'em something to think about!" right, i'm sure the cubs are going to be thinking about one of their worst relievers giving up a run to cut their lead to 9, not the fact that they pounded the brewers in the rear for four straight games at their house.

Did you hear the call from Pat on his first HR?

"Bush is susceptible to the long ball, lets see if Edmonds can get something to hammer on the 3-1 pitch..." [HOMERUN]

Dare I say it...magic number 49!

Vance, that's like counting down the outs in the ESPN thread during Game 6. It's not something that you want to do at this point.

Never has the term "a picture is worth a thousand words" been more apt.
