This may be the most fun I've had watching a series since the Cubs took 4/5 from the Cards in 2003.

That was a nice little board explosion. And damn worth it too. By a show of hands, how many people expected to leave Milwaukee with a 4 game sweep, completely dominating 3 of the 4 games.

Not here. I was thinking best case 2/4.

The Cubs completely outclassed the Brewers in this series, on and off the field. Throwing at hitters is dumb, complaining all series about close strike 3 calls is [expletive], and completely collapsing whenever the Cubs scored the first run is pathetic. I love how it took the Brewers until the 9th inning when they were down 11-2 to get a hit with RISP.

In the big picture, this probably doesn't do much to the Brewers' playoff hopes right now, but it's completely demoralizing to see them get swept at home with 10,000 Cubs fans at each game. Excuse me while I go hunt down every Brewers season ticket holder that decided to cash in on this series by selling their tickets online. :banghead:

At least this series is over so both fanbases can go back to sharing a common hatred for the Cards. ;)

Never imagined this could happen. As lethargic as they had been going into the series, I was hoping we could split at the very best. They really showed up and spanked the Brew Crew and sent a message I dont think they will forget the rest of the year. Lets keep it up and get some more breathing room now. Great series!

^^ Those are some fantastic pictures. Interesting that Harden has had 2 road starts. The first start he chose the blues, and the second he chose the grays. Both home games he wore pinstripes.

I have this mental image of the cubs walking out of milwaulke with it burning in the distance. Edited by WTFCUBS

Our good friend Pythagorus thinks the Cubs should currently be sitting at 67-42.

He also thinks the Brewers should be sitting at 55-54.
