How is Molina the toughest out in baseball? This is the 2nd time I've heard it mentioned on Fox here in STL.

Lowest strikeout rate in the majors, I think

It must be fun to live in the world where we still don't view the Cards as a threat.

They're not. Seriously, I'd bet so much money on us finishing ahead of them this year.

God dammit this is the second time that Kerry Wood has imploded against a rival with a 2 run lead in the 9th. I'm absolutely crushed right now. Absolutely crushed. Laugh it up Cardinals fans.

He's the hardest to strike out, especially when he gets to keep hitting after swinging and missing at strike 3.

 We are giving them too many chances. You have to win this game today. Marmol got through the tough part for you.

Seriously, what a devastating loss. I fully expect us to get blownout tomorrow and go on some kind of skid.

The Cubs should forfeit the rest of the season.

That's gotta be what he was referring to... I heard it last weekend and thought he was joking - then he said it again today. He also claimed STL had the best fielding %, which isn't true.

And takes a lot of pitches.

Well, anytime Wood has blown a save it has been because he doesn't have his control. You can't walk the first two guys in an inning in a two run game and expect to win. Edited by ChiCubsfan0502

yeah just like the brewers tremendous collapse on thursday led to them getting blown out by the pirates on friday.

And lest we forget, this game is only tied if Edmonds learns how to slide.

See Cubs thats how you finish a 9th inning rally. Thanks for ruining my night. God dammit. Get them tomorrow I guess. God dammit. God dammit.

That was ---SOAPDROPPING--- awful. This is the angriest I've been this year.

I know he has been good all year, but [expletive] kerry wood. You have to get through the crap that is the bottom of the cardinals order.

I wish we had a lefty in the pen we could have brought in to face Ankiel. I don't care if Wood is the closer, its the right move.
