Fukudome doesn't put together good at bats against Lefties

I'm almost positive his OBP against lefties is near .400.

.392 coming into today.

Wonder if a lot of that was in April and May though because it doesn't seem like hes a good matchup against most lefties lately.

Man, so many terrible breaks this game - Soto's screamer being caught, Edmonds running the bases, no help from the ump.

I can't believe the rain hasn't come yet.

I comes after they score one this inning and the game is called after the fifth.

I guess that was a make up for the first strike

Seriously? That was at his chin

Hahaha, I like how your last post said it was at his shoulder and this post it was at his chin. ;)

in kosuke's batting stance, his chin is usually in line with his shoulder

You know what, that last inning relieved me a little.

We're still hitting the ball hard, we're still walking, we're just getting fairly unlucky with things. Edmonds being slow of foot, a couple balls hit right at people, etc.

And its still tied

We're tied, but it feels like we are losing by 3 for some reason.

For every Cubs 0 runs in an inning, you might as well give the Sox 3

I'm watching this half inning on mute

DAMNIT FUKUDOME!

Why did Lou not pinch hit for Fontenot when they brought the lefty Logan in?

Mind explaining to me what kosuke did wrong there?

Was it the horrible strike that he took for the first pitch or was it the pitch at his eyes he didn't actually swing at?

Dude we get it the ump is inconsistent. He still swung at an awful pitch on 0-1 and he went on the last pitch.
