I know I shouldn't blame this entire debacle on Lou's decision to give Gallagher a 9 day break in between starters, but the man was dealing before this start. He doesn't look nearly as crisp or even as confident as he was in previous starts.

I was dreading the blowout, but the heartbreaking back and fourth loss this is almost inevitably going to be is going to suck even worse.

I'm not saying its going to happen, but a masochist inside of me is imagining a walk off vs. Wood after a HBP

"my message to him was you've got to throw teh breaking ball in the dirt"

Haha, that's not quite what he said

He has to keep Sean in, the pen is shot. We need 6 out of SG today.

If he stops giving up runs, sure, but the W is the most important thing. If we have to go to the pen again (unfortunately), we have to do it if we can get the win.

It's inevitable, and Alexei Ramirez will hit it. The spirit of Rob Mackowiack lives on.

There were some points in that conversation where he momentarily paused where he would normally slip in some choice words. That was amusing.

I just vomited a little thinking of that.

Anybody else getting annoyed with our outfield not calling off the infielders on deep pop-ups? This has happened like 3-4 times in the last couple of games. The outfielder can easily make the catch coming forward, but the infielder ends up having to turn his whole body around and just barely makes the catch.

It's something that is taught in little league. The outfielder calls off the infielder! It's an easier catch that way!

We are about a foot from having a 7-5 lead on Soto's line drive. If Vasquez is still in we score some more this inning.
