I don't see the need to trash on CubsGM. He is doing nothing that warrants any disciplinary action. Just ignore him if you don't like what he has to say.

Alexei had a kid so that means he is hitting 2 homers off of us.

Are you going for comedic effect or what? Because that wasn't funny and that didn't really make sense.

Cabrera makes it 4-2.

This is frustrating. Losing is one thing, but it looks like we're going to get blown out again, and probably swept.

That it's to a team with hands down one of the most disgusting fanbases in the game doesn't help any.

That's a funny post and wrong as well.

This would be all well and survivable if our bullpen was ok, but Lou thew like 8 relievers in the game where Marquis blew up and justifiably used a few yesterday, so we really can't survive our starter not going at least 5 or 6 today, and with Marshall tomorrow....

Crap.

I really thought that Kosuke would stike out less than he has. He's no Juan Pierre up there when it comes to striking out.

why would you ever think that he'd have a juan pierre-like strikeout rate? he K'ed at a rate of roughly 100 times per season in japan, and that was in fewer games.

I know there' some overt negativity but, this game is over, its not a matter of will the White Sox win but, by how many runs. Edited by gflore34

If Vazquez keeps throwing strikes, it's over, I agree

I don't know, I guess I heard a lot of baseball people rave about his strikeout rate. I guess its relative though.

I'm thinking we need 2 more starters at the deadline

Maybe just gamble with Hill and see if he can find it back in the bigs, we need something.

I've been on the 2 starters train for a couple weeks. Get one of the bigger guys (CC, Harden, Burnett) and get a back of the rotation guy in someone like Wolf or Maddux. You could probably get either of those guys for something real cheap, plus they should be better than the back end of our rotation right now (even though Gallagher has been good lately).

Show me which NSBB guidelines he breaks?

Being pessimistic isn't one. I don't really notice his posts a lot, but just to make sure, I went back and read his last 20 posts before posting that.

I really don't think there's anything to worry about concerning Gallagher. He's just having a bad day.

If Gallagher lets a baserunner past 1st next inning, I'm taking him out if I'm Lou. This is still a close game and Gallagher has nothing today. Get him out before it gets too out of hand. Hopefully Gallagher settles down though.

You don't think one of Hill, Marshall or Gallagher can be just as good as Randy Wolf? And without the price?

Come on people, you're overreacting here.

I'm more concerned about Marquis and Lilly. Either way, strengthening our rotation has to be a must.
