I think the Sox are gonna blow it wide open this inning. Not a particularly bold prediction, but still.

See Dye yesterday.

I'm adamant that was not a web gem by any stretch. It was a freaking routine flyout to the track and Dye intentionally approached it slowly to make the jumping catch.

That looked gone for a second.

The Fox cameramen are going ridiculously high on every flyball (hit by the Sox of course) to scare us

Gallagher's gotta settle in however

Wrong

What am I wrong about?

He's gotta settle in

He... shouldn't settle in?

luckiest team in the world. give me a break.

How is that lucky? Crede has terrific range for a 3B. That's what he gets paid to do, make diving catches and hit HRs.

I'm pretty sure his range is pretty poor compared to what it used to be. It's lucky because their pitcher is throwing a ton of pitches, we are hitting some hard balls, and they are either right at them or they are making amazing catches. See Dye yesterday.

From what I''ve seen of him, he still seems to get to a lot of balls. He's been making a lot of errors this season, but obviously we all know thats not the only way to judge a player defensively.

Say what you want about Sox fans, but they know how to react to a warning track flyball like that one.

How bout a fly short of the warning track like Crede's?

Well thats just because Crede is so dreamy. I heard a hint of female cheering there.

I was moreso referring to the diving one he had down the line earlier in the game. I barely remember it now as I've tried to drink away the memory of this week.

He can't settle cause he's too young and needs some experience. If we were talking about Paul Byrd, that'd be a different story.
