Wow, I thought that was way gone

 

Gotta love Fox's camera angle.

 

I still remember that game against the Red Sox in 2005 where someone (Manny I think) hit a fly ball just short of the track and Fox's camera angle made it seem like it was about to go into Lake Michigan.

Thome flied out to right field

Crede flied out to deep right center field

Dye stole second base

Swisher popped out to shortstop

We just gave up a SB to Jermaine freaking Dye. Wow.

 

He stole 3rd yesterday

 

Also, I kinda like the concept of the pitcher not having to hit next inning.

 

but then you realize both Fontenot and Cedeno are due up, so you get sad again.

It's good baserunning. They've run the bases well these two days.

How was that good baserunning? He took off way late but there was no idea he could have known that ball was going into the dirt. He still almost got thrown out. If that ball didnt bounce in the dirt he would have been out by about a mile and a third.

I think I'm one of the few here that loves the DH. I hope the NL implements it at some point. Watching Z hit is awesome, but he's the exception.
