In regards to Dempster wiggling the glove.

Anybody else wondering why he can move his glove like that when he pitches?

I haven't seen much of the game, but the Cubs' pitchers have certainly had a wider strike zone tonight.

hmmm

My wife was singing the "Go Cubs Go" song just now. I may make the police blotter tomorrow.

Awesome...wife beaters as well.

Longest home winning streak for the Cubs since 1936.

It's just so nice to expect good things out of your team. I wasn't even really upset after the Tampa Bay series even though it was very tough just because I knew the team would bounce back, and that was a nice way to do it!

I hope Aramis Ramirez gets bitten by a giant rabid rat. If treated, rabies may only require him to spend two weeks on the DL.

I heard earlier tonight that this is the first time the Cubs have had a 4.5 game lead in the division since 8/1/01.

We were up 4.5 games like 2 weeks ago.

*grumbles*

Good for nothing, Boston, should be a 5.5 game buffer.

They're going to skip Gallagher and have him pitch Friday, apparently. Dempster will pitch next Saturday.
