For all that people think Sox fans are obsessed with the Cubs, there are people in this thread showing there isn't a lot of difference between the fanbases.

 

The difference is that we do it 6 days a year, they do it 365 days a year.

I'm one that was posting exceprts from WSI. But in all fairness, I've done it during game threads from other boards before as well, particularly from DodgerBlues during one of the Dodger series.

 

Sometimes it's funny, interesting, nice, or whatever to see what the other fans reaction to the game is.

the truth is, 95% of the post-game stuff over there was pretty civil and calm. the quotes people are pulling over here are hardly the norm
