well 3 of those 4 would have to be the two UConn and one Syracuse team that won it all, so who is the other?

no, but you can't fault the big ten for having academic standards. not that the pac-10 isn't a great academic conference, but the 2 schools in question aren't exactly princeton and harvard.

1989 - Seton Hall

1996 - Syracuse

1999 - UConn

2003 - Syracuse

2004 - UConn

2007 - Georgetown

It's a little misleading cause it doesn't include current BE teams that went under different conferences (Louisville '05, Marquette with Wade, maybe another)

 

But guess what conference is 2nd in final four appearances over like any timeframe.
