Nice win. Last two minutes were agony when USC couldn't inbound the damn ball. I kept track and they didn't actually dribble the ball past half court in the last 2:04 of the game.

Derozan's starting to get it figured out. Hopefully he'll come back for one more year and find a jumper and a handle.

He's gone. He's got a chance to sneak into the top 5 if he keeps this up.

it looks to me like the Pac 10 doesnt have any good players.

I know you're mocking what Sponge said earlier but Kalin Lucas can't hold James Harden or Jordan Hill's jock.

I wouldn't take him in the top 5. He literally has no handle and his jumper is a mess (although the mechanics seem good). He's a glorified energy player who thrives in transition and hustle plays.

I think if he goes this year he's a bottom of the lottery or mid first round guy. He could be top 5 with another year. I selfishly want him to stay but objectively speaking...he needs a ton of work still.

I can't even be mad about this PSU/Purdue game. Every junk, contested shot Purdue is throwing up there is dropping. Yeah, Penn State is giving up too many easy layups, but that's what happens when you have to guard 25 feet from the basket to try (and fail) to guard the 3 point shot

yeah hopefully the tourney committee realizes that the score is a reflection of an average-shooting team just having a night that they shot the lights out (especially from deep) and not a reflection of penn st playing poorly.

Just takes a couple of work outs, especially in such a weak draft. I'd definitely take him top 10 (especially over guys like Mullens or Budinger).

They're all projects this year outside of Griffin and Harden.

I'm starting to come around on Henderson as being the best big guard in the draft after Harden. I like Teague too.

Went to the second session of the BTT today. Conseco Fieldhouse is really nice, but it really didn't feel like a basketball stadium. My friend and I both thought it felt more like a baseball stadium more than anything. I can sort of see why the Big Ten moved it to Indy because there is a ton of stuff to do right next to the stadium, but I think they really should've kept alternating the two venues for the tournament.

The Illinois game was pretty fun besides that 13-0 Purdue run. Mike Davis was a man today. I really don't think Illinois will miss Chester that much if Jeff and Brock can defend like they did today.

The Purdue-Penn State game was actually decent to watch, even for a game that was decided in the first five minutes. We sat next to a group of Penn State fans that were constantly negative about their team, so that was interesting. Watching Purdue drain 3's like it was nothing was sort of amazing considering how offensively inept the conference has been this year. Hopefully they got all of their made shots out of the way tonight.

I'm hopeful I can go to the semis tomorrow. Should be two real good games.

you're assuming the committee looks at anything but the final score at this point.

Coming up on ESPN, Jeff Lebo whines how Auburn should have a bid despite them being a bad basketball team.

Gotta help the SEC every chance they get.

It's night and day listening to CBS guys talk about the Big 10/Pac 10 compared to ESPN. It's embarrassing.

On the downside, CBS has commercials for Big Bang Theory.

I'm gonna give you a Sheldon avatar if you keep this up.

Ed Hightower loves getting attention by looking at that replay.

Funny how he manages to make some sort of scene during every game he officiates.

Mississippi State beat LSU 67-57. Bubble teams all over the country have suddenly become huge Tennessee fans.

cowherd (i'm not a fan) was saying friday that the big east is always overrated. surprised me with this stat: only 6 final four teams in the last 20 years from BE. doesnt seem like that could be right.

well 3 of those 4 would have to be the two UConn and one Syracuse team that won it all, so who is the other?

That was the smartest thing Devendorf's done since he told the girl he'd kill her if she went to the cops.

or the pimpest thing anyone has done since luther head choked his girlfriend because she didn't want to watch roots.

Roots is historically significant.

i keep trying to tell people that but they won't listen. they'd rather watch kill bill.
