Sulley, is there any room on the Tisdale sucks wagon?

He looks awful out there.

STOP CALLING HIM FLETCHER

Also, Chester Fletcher is knocking down 3s???

I think him and McCamey switched jerseys or something tonight. It's the only explanation I can think of.

Iowa's leading scorer, freshman Anthony Tucker is suspended indefinitely. Rumor is he was passed out in a bar Saturday night and was taken to the hospital.

Which bar?

The Union

The shame of it is just that he didn't have a teammate or friend to get him home, make him throw up and put him to bed.

i was gonna guess the union, we always used to drive up there and drink before we turned 21 because they never card anyone.

Just saw the Purdue team eating dinner at a McDonald's here in Muncie. Great dinner the night before a game :).

I hate not being able to go to that. They finally get a good team into Muncie at a non-holiday point in the schedule and I go do a stupid thing like graduate. Should be interesting.

Well I hate being in school and having absolutely no income. Its one thing to make money and just not have a whole lot of excess its another to just not make it.

STEPHEN CURRY

Didn't watch the game, but that's an ugly box score for him.

its like he was just waiting for the last few minutes to heat up.

Great win for Iowa(well at least for this Iowa team's standards) tonight. They beat Northern Iowa by 19. Now they aren't as good as they have been in recent years but this win is good for multiple reasons. They've had our number for quite some time. They have had a better program than us recently with more NCAA appearances than we've had (I think, it may be the same amount but I think since 2001 they have had one more) and we were without one of our better players who was suspended, so to come out and beat them by almost 20 is a great thing. I'm very happy that Iowa is 8-2 and I hope they can beat Iowa State Friday night. Edited by bcl412

Was just going to post along those lines. Iowa has done much better than I expected. I still have them pegged for 10th, but this is very good for the Big Ten.

I think this is going to be one of the stronger Big Tens we've had in awhile. That may be more because the Big Ten hasn't been that good lately but I think the league has some depth it hasn't had in awhile.

As I expected, the offense is light years ahead of where it was last year. We played 32 games last year. Our highest offensive efficiency rating was 117.5. In just 10 games this year we've already topped that 6 times. 3 times we've been over 127.

Granted we've played some major cupcakes but this team ranks 4th in the nation in effective FG%. They're shooting over 42% from 3 (where half our field goal attempts have come from) and 56% from 2. This team can shoot it and play efficient basketball on the offensive end.

However our defense is worse than it was last year. We need to be a better defensive rebounding team to make overall improvement in the Big Ten.

As weird as this sounds, if we had Seth Gorney this year, we might be an NIT team at least. He couldn't score too much but to have him defensively would be nice.

10 point lead with 8 minutes to go against Drake? Not good enough. Wasted a 7/8 3pt performance from Lucca Staiger in the first half as well. Iowa will win by double digits this weekend unless ISU finds an offense that shows up for 40 minutes.

ISU will play out of their minds on Friday as they generally do against Iowa.

You're confusing football with basketball here. ISU and Iowa are even over the last 10 years, which matches up pretty well with the quality of teams that they've had over that period.
