wait...what the hell is that.

yeah, they make oregon football look classy and understated

i cant believe those things are allowed on the court, they look like the mishmash ish a small high school makes its JV team wear

but what about oregon baseball?

this is the best part:

"A close look at the gray pinstripe reveals that the pinstripes are made with the words of the Oregon fight song."

So when your basketball team is up 24 at halftime, you're generally going to win those games.

Just not the ones where you get outscored by 30 in the second half.

Well done UCD.

I think IU fans are being a bit overzealous thinking they'll be back in the tournament next year. The recruiting class for this year was mediocre and only registerred in rankings because of the size. Next year's is pretty good, but it'll fall in rankings when the late signings come in.

You have to think about how far up you're going to have to climb in the '09-'10 season. That and by '09-'10 it's going to be a much better big ten than this season with Purdue, MSU, Wisconsin, OSU, Minnesota, and Illinois all pretty safe bets to finish better. The only teams I'd feel comfortable betting on IU finishing ahead of are NU and PSU(I'm lending some credence to the Iowa people's system idea here)I think an NIT bid is a more realistic goal with eyes on the tourney in '11.

How shocking, an Illini fan with a negative view on Indiana basketball.

Bruce Weber is still coaching Ilinois right? Just making sure. You do realize he doesn't have any Bill Self recruits left to lean on.

How funny. SSR gives his opinion on IU basketball, and gives reasons behind it, and an IU fan gets upset.

Oh and by the way, Weber has his best recruiting clases coming in so keep up that Bill Self stuff because its about to be laid to rest in the next 2 years.

Yeesh. Sorry soccer10k.

I'm just hoping they can pull out a win tomorrow so I don't have to talk to a coach whose team is 0-3 despite leading one game by 14 with 11 minutes left and 8 with 3 minutes left, and another game where they blew a 24 point halftime lead.

At least if they win tomorrow I'll have something positive to focus on.

I figured you would not disappoint. :clapping:

Keep telling yourself that.

Good reply with no substance at all. Way to not disappoint. You are the only IU fan on here that took offense to what SSR said, and looked at it as IU hating. CCP and Soapy didnt just you. Hmm I wonder why that is...

This is pretty comical considering Illinois and Indiana just signed pretty closely ranked classes for '09. This following a class of solely 3 stars and a 7 footer who couldn't score more than 3 points a game in JC.

they lost every single player they had and are going to have to depend upon freshmen next year, i think it's a pretty fair assessment, actually.

and weber's 2010 class is the best class in the history of the program.

Whatever, typical Illinois fan response. Indiana invented basketball. Oh and Jereme Richmond and Crandal Head can't play basketball, they are horrible at it. Those are their tennis rankings, also they are visiting IU this fall so that recruiting isn't over. Let Kelvin get them to Yogi's. GRrRR.. IU IU IU IU.

I also imagine IU goes 36-1 this year. Tom Crean!!1!!

Christ, can the IU-UI pissing match end? I'm actually looking forward to watching a season with no expectations. In time I think Crean will build the program back up.

It will never end. After the Gordon debacle things will never be the same. If you don't think an Illini fan can hold a grudge just ask an Iowa fan. Welcome to at least thirty years of hatred and pissing matches.

It has, I think you guys did a great job with your recruiting this year. Crean should get a medal for that. How is your '10 shaping up.

Oh and apparently Bill Self isn't recruiting for Illinois anymore. I did not know that, but will be talking to him about it the next time I drive to lawerence.

Its true, illinois fans will never let it go. Get used to it.

If we ever win a title I think that will fade away too. Indiana took just one player. Iowa tried to railroad our program.

By taking that one player, IU did railroad our program. Luckily it appears we have recovered, and they came out of the whole situation with a whole lot of egg on their face. Anyone know when the NCAA ruling is due?

Yeah they hurt us, but still why did we have all of our eggs in one guy? The fact that we missed out on everyone else hurt as as much if not way more than missing EJ. Plus it caused Bruce to change how he handles recruiting for the better. As for the ruling, who knows. They still are one of the sacred cows, I imagine the NCAA will wait as long as they can and hope that people forget.

Oh wow, I saw Davis was up big at halftime before I left for the football game. They should be able to beat LMU if they don't let the last two losses get to them. LMU only lost to ISU by 12 but they closed the gap a bit in garbage time, Davis is a much better team.
