Cedeno would have had it on his feet.

Barehanded.

He would have come flipping in under it, caught it, planted his feet on the tarp roll and backflipped back onto the field.

I cant help but wonder if we're really this good, or if our opponents are really this bad.

Both. The Cubs, and maybe the Cardinals, are the only really good teams in the NL. Probably just the Cubs.

Does anyone remember what year Len and Bob said about the last time the Cubs had an undefeated homestand of seven or more games?

The biggest thing I see is that they are minimizing the amount of games lost in new, fun creative ways that has always plagued them in the past.

Plus, they occasionally take a walk now.

Thanks. I heard the last part of what they were talking about, just not the year.

Go Cubs Go.

I like settig the pace in the division, instead of chasing the pace.

But, June will tell what kind of team the Cubs are. We know they are outstanding at home, but if the Cubs can end June with a .500 mark on the road, the Cubs will be hard to beat in the 2nd half.

Another interesting thing...

ESPN.COM

The Cubs entered June with the best record in baseball for the first time since 1908, when they last won a World Series.

When was the last time Cubs won 8 straight? I know they didn't go past 7 with Dusty or with Piniella so far.

May 19 to June 2, 2001 when they won 12 straight.
