My Glenallen Hill comparison still holds.

As awesome as Soriano is, Glenallen Hill has more awesomeness in his pinky finger than Soriano does in his whole body.

Uhhhhhhhhh...what?

Hill had an awesome homer, but Soriano is actually, y'know, useful.

Hey Hill wasn't worthless. .271/.321/.482 lifetime line isn't that shabby.

I think thats only the second ball the Cubs have hit onto Waveland this year. Not positive though.

Am I crazy? Didn't that land in the back of the bleachers?

Yeah, and then it bounced onto the street after the fans failed to make the catch. Not a true Waveland Avenue shot but I'll take it. 8-)

Whoops! I didn't see it clearly enough I guess.

What were his Cubs' numbers?

Yeah so I know the batter has a better shot to do good things when the ball ends up in the strike zone, but you might want to place the ball into that zone a few times Eyre.

Get Eyre out of there as quickly as possible. He's going to get rocked unless the umpire saves him like last inning. He doesn't have anything today.

Almost positive they were better than his career numbers as a whole, but I am not sure how I can get those splits. Anyone know?

Oh boy...gameday says that ball was hit pretty well.

It's much less worrying when you can see Helton throw his bat away in disgust

If there were a way to describe that in Gameday, it would be hilarious. Like some stick figure at the plate throwing a fit.

If only I could. The TV gods chose not to make my TV be Extra Innings-compatible.
