So wait, why is johnson batting 5th, first of all. And second, Why the hell is Fukudome batting sixth now? Bat Fukudome first or second. It's not that hard.

I think most of us realize the Cubs are a good baseball team but it's just that they can be a lot better. The starting rotation still seems a bit thin and shaky after Zambrano and Dempster...although Lilly seems to be pitching a bit better. Wood has to stop hitting batters in save situations. The offense has been great but it would still be nice to solidify the CF situation and not have Reed Johnson batting 5th (???) and playing more than he should.

 

The goal right now should be getting to the World Series and taking a crack at winning the thing. There is enough talent on this team to get that done but we've still got some holes to fill to really solidify the thing. That and Lou's bizarre over-managing makes me concerned that he will do something really dumb to cost us in the postseason.

Overreaction because of RJ hitting 5th and the cards playing over their heads. Im still confident they will win today. :D
