Marmol in to pitch (7th), Fontenot in at 2b (9th)

Michaels called out on strikes

Sanchez grounded an IF single to shortstop

McLouth homered to right field , Sanchez scored

Bay called out on strikes

LaRoche popped out (foul) to first base

Great, we just lost a series to the Pirates.

 

hopefully tomorrow's result is the same as the "automatic loss" to jake peavy

I'm so [expletive] conflicted because I want to see Marquis dropped from the rotation but I also don't want to lose a series to the Pirates

Yea cause we may lose with Z pitching there is no chance we'd win with Marquis right? Just like the other night when we lost to Shawn Estes, but beat Peavy? Your over the top exaggeration in every post is ridiculous, and annoying.

good to see McLouth continue to OPS 200 points better than he ever has in his life

 

When you are a fan of a team that is led offensively by a career scrub minor-league catcher who suddenly learned how to hit, I don't think you can complain about that sort of thing :)

 

Not to mention Sosa.

Wow, I really wasn't even paying attention to this inning, just assuming that Marmol would finish them off with ease.
