My neighbors probably think someone was just murdered at my place. CLUTCH.

Did you yell CLUTCH? Maybe they just thought you were trying to buy a purse on HSN but either your phone was bad or the phone operator was deaf.

It was a long string of expletives at the top of my lungs followed by another bout of screaming, clapping, and stomping on the floor. Brewers fans live all around me.

well atleast we have pie patrolling CF now, it could save a double or triple

Could have just subbed him in directly for Johnson if necessary and still had Lee in the game.

Corpas has 4 blown saves?? ouch

He made a bet with Gagne on who could blow the most saves this season. Gagne took the lead yesterday. Corpas ties him right back up. Game on.

In fairness, Gagne didn't get the chance tonight to maintain his lead as it appears he might have lost the job.

Either that or Yost thought 2345445567 outings this season might be one too man for Gagne.

Either Lou is drunk or Ned Yost is the new Cub manager.

Take out your best hitter and fielder for a pinch runner? Good god, man, can't you fall asleep in the dugout for once.

The move only makes sense if you are going to steal with Pie to get the runner in scoring position. But it sure didn't look like that was his inent.

STill doesn't make sense, because in the event you do tie, you lose your best hitter. If you take the lead, you lose your best defender.

...at the far end of the defensive spectrum (I hesitate to type it for fear of a jinx), but its not as big of a deal as scoring the tying run.

That embarrassing, you can hear VERY LOUD chanting of "LETS GO CUBBIES" the Rockies players have to be a little embarrassed....and their fans.

No kidding, they are the freaking NL Champs you think they would have fans.

It doesn't matter. Wood's not going to allow the Rockies to actually make contact with the ball.

2 K's!

Totally...I just thought saying it the other way added a little punch to the one liner.

I was listening to the bottom of the 8th on XM, Rockies announcers were saying hoiw much louder the Rockies fans were than the Cubs fans..All I hear are lets go Cubs chants.

Yeah, if they have to mention that on air, it means the cubs fans are being much louder.

Didn't he have a tight neck or back a few days ago? It's possible that he got hurt on the swing.

The fact that they have to even claim that says it all.
