This game isn't over.

Except Fontenot and Theriot are up so, yeah its over.

The question is, who sucks worse?

Fontenot. And that's saying something.

BE HURT RIOT

EDIT: That wasn't very nice.

But I meant it

Am I a bad person for actually hoping he's dinged up a little and Cedeno gets a chance to shine?

I don't know, you haven't seen Coffey pitch. He has decent stuff, throws strikes, and still gets lit up. It's impressive to see.

No, not at all

BE HURT RIOT

That's going waaaaaaay too far.

If he were writhing in pain I wouldn't have said it. But a knick or ding allowing someone else to get in there wouldn't be a bad thing.

Because his .357 OBP is really killing this team.

Yeah, like that's going to continue.

And his defense is hurting the team.

Not the best game for Fukudome today..

Who cares, when you're pitching staff gives up as many runs as they did we aren't going to win anyway

I'm pretty sure I remember the Phillies scoring something like 12 with 2 out in the bottom of the ninth to win years ago.

Yeah but as a "rookie" playing in his first MLB season, I'm thinking long term

"Glass is half full" game reaction:

1 - The Cub hitters were exceedingly patient today, forcing Volquez out after 5 with 112 pitches, and forcing Red pitchers overall to throw 190 pitches in the game.

2 - DeRosa and Johnson each reached base 4 times.

3 - Lilly had his longest outing of the year and lowered his ERA.

4 - Wuertz had a good inning.

5- We have 2, possibly 3 guys who can replace Lilly in the rotation, hopefully sooner than later

"Theodore" is sucking up the joint.

Hopefully he finds his missing velocity, because I don't think he's going anywhere, at least for long.

It's not even velocity so much as it's the location of his pitches. Everything is on the upper half.
