Skilling says highs around 65, and the most severe rain not until after 6pm. This was just updated within the last few hours

Ok well I saw that Hall might bat 5th and Hart 6th. Not really THAT big of a deal. But when Hall bats 5th, I dont want a bunch of angry Cub fans freaking out on me :blackeye: . Ok well 12 hours to go!!!

It really didn't sink in that the regular season was about to start until a couple of days ago for me. I'm ready to get this thing going.

4:00 classes are not cool.

Haha no of course not. My best friend is a Cub fan. I just like to joke around and make it seem like its a bigger deal then what it is. Sorry about that. Im just REALLY excited for baseball season to start.

To be fair, the intelligence level of Cubs fans that troll Brewers' boards falls somewhere between Cubs fans that troll Cardinals' boards and slices of pepperoni.

Not that anyone will be watching on ESPN2, but Brent Musburger will be doing PBP. It's apparently his first game in 13 years.

i'll be flipping back and forth from ESPN2 to WGN, if only because i'll get the game in HD on ESPN2

Not that it effects you but I believe the ESPN2 broadcast is blacked out in chicago. At least someone mentioned that today when I was at wrigley. They could have been wrong.

Hopefully ditto on just the first part :beg: , but probly ditto on both counts :( , since here in eastern Iowa, I am considered in the "DMA" of both the Cubs and Brewers - not to mention the Cardinals, White Sox, Twins, and [i think] Royals as well.

As someone else has said I find it hard to get excited about a game that likely isn't going to even be played. That said I am very excited for the season, although not as much as last year. This is because I just experienced a 22 game win streak 2nd longest in history so everything else isn't as big to me anymore  .

Over-reactions, lineup complaints, declaring the season over, dogging on , calling for Lou/Hendry to be fired. It starts today. Let's rock.

People already waiting outside Wrigley!...

Also:

A cool, rainy morning with temperatures in the 40s and brisk east-southeast winds. Showers and thunderstorms diminish by early afternoon. Highs surge into the 60s with howling south winds. Strong/severe storms at night with heavy rain possible.

PLAY BALL!

Ha, not many people but there are still people waiting outside.

Well what do you expect? It's 6 AM and rainy on a Monday

I'm shocked anyone's out there already.

GOOD MORNING, CUBS FANS!

Didn't sleep worth a damn last night, but it's GAMEDAY!

Just went downstairs and had breakfast and as soon as my stupid suite-mate gets out of the shower I'll be hopping in there and getting all clean and dressed up in my spiffy Crowd Management uniform...

GO CUBS.

Roast, you are my hero.

Roast is all geared up...minus shoes and his hat. I'm heading out in about half an hour or there abouts. Gonna get there crazy early, probably grab some coffee at 7/11, and watch some of the ceremony before I go and clock in, most likely.

Taken yesterday when I was checking if everything fit. And no I haven't gained as much weight as it looks like...I've got like 4 shirts on.

By the way, don't hate on the fannie pack. It's mandatory.
